Yes, the shack is not far from the Clyde. There is a backwater off the river which runs onto the property. There is plenty of water up there, we have used a dinghy and outboard before. Little bit of paddling until main river is reached, but fine from there. There are a number of places to access the river starting at Shallow Crossing and then a few others on the way towards Brooman. Unfortunately much of the river is bounded by private property.
