Hi Kenyan Traveller, Thanks for your kind comment and LIKE! It jumped, I snapped... sometimes they work and sometimes I delete. Luckily this one worked. Cheers, William

Yes - hand held panning with a 50-500mm zoom - all good fun. I must put up my picture of a swallow diving into a swimming pool! Cheers, William

Great perspective.

Thanks Di - it was nice! But no turkey spam :(

Hi again Abdulaziz, you should also look at my photo of a Hoopoe in Madagascar. Cheers, William

yes it is special netting, and this farm is actually growing Persimmon/Fuju fruit

Hi Sue,

No, there are no Jacarandas growing @ home now. Actually, my best friend's wife, who's from Jacarandafull Argentina, tried to grow one in the south of London (where the winters are less cold than here) and despite the "gentleness" of London's winters, the Jacaranda died... so I guess I'ld have even less chance than she had here...

However, I found it's nordic equivalent : a Prunus

The other solution would be to bug the Basel city greenhouse to grow one... they grow things that you'ld never expect to see in Switzerland... check it out! ... however, when I see how the Swiss Banana trees grow, I think that with some more pollution, we could get the global warm up strong enough to grow Jacarandas in here !

But who cares... Jacarandas are a green and purple wonder... but what about green eyed girls using purple make up ?

Best regards from eastern France :-)

Nice perspective. And the train goes nowhere!

Great, fantastic bird picture! Bravo!

This is a beautiful one...Congratulations from Portugal...Muito Obrigado...Conquilha
