The family name 'Van de Molen' means 'from the (wind)mill', in other words 'Miller'. It is not my real name, but in combination with 'Tik' (not an existing first name as far as I know) it means 'struck by the mindmill'. In Dutch it is an expression for people who are a bit daft.
And yes, I am ;-)
Not being a real expert I like taking pictures from windmills and admiring the craftsmenship from the past. Hunting windmills is always a good excuse for a nice trip to almost every part of the Netherlands, occasionally Germany and some othercountries.
