This island before 1921 belonged to my Grand-Grand Father Petros Katsimbris and this beautiful island was named in Greek as "Kamariani". This little church was not a monastery but it was a family church (Panagia Kamariani - dedicated to Panagia the mother of Jesus Christ) and it had a lot of buildings which was used for trade and etc because people from BozBorun (Apospornou in Greek)were working peacefully with our family and they had nothing to fight for. Only politicians can divide and create hates between people. In the near future i will upload pictures of this area. You can find many people in Rhodes with the first name "Kamari" which came from this beautiful and former Greek Island.
