I started playing with different types of cameras at a very early age. Later in my teens I would always take snapshots, with no photography skills, guidelines or rules in mind. I always just took lots of photos. After graduating high school I moved from Eastern North Carolina, to Atlanta, Georgia. There I attended the Art Institute of Atlanta taking music and video production courses. Being a drummer, I started working as a drum, bass and stage technician for professional musical acts in 1991 traveling the World and I still do today. Still I continued taking photos and video all that time. Ten years or so went by and I started to look at photography more seriously and begin to increase my desire to learn more about the craft. Thoughout the years I continue to study, read, take classes, workshops, and most importantly practice. After attending the Nikon school and The Rocky Mt. School of Photography Workshop, I will forever be a student of photography, as well as self teaching, practicing and refining the craft. I enjoy taking photos.
