This building has a new name, and is under new management. It is now renovated and renamed the Hard Rock Cafe Casino. It features truckloads of rock-and-roll memorabilia. Very interesting place to visit.

This is he whale museum and visitor center at Seacliff beach, Aptos, California. You can see the steep cliff behind the tree, and hence the name. There is a huge wooden staircase to the east (right of picture) and a wharf nearby. To the west (left) is path along the beach with camper parking and a memorial wall at the end where people post picture of their pets; and some loved ones. You can see wonderful view of the beach, the cliffs, birds, and the surf from here. Bring a camera.

It's 151 steps, one way. I counted 'em. Watch out: There are always fitness nuts running up and down these stairs just for the "fun" of it! Be sure to visit the wharf and the deteriorating cement ship at the end of the pier. There is a whale museum at the bottom too. Enjoy is a nice hike to the west populated by a huge lot of campers and trailers. The folks and dogs are friendly and at the end of a 20-minute walk there is a very touching wall of memorials to lost pets and people. And of course, the views, the ocean breezes, and the birds are just wonderful!

Cupid with wings, and where his bow and arrows! F+L

Kind regards,István.

Dziękuję bardzo Anula.

The prison is actually in its own town, called Repressa, although for all practical purposes it's in Folsom, California. The prison is generally not visible from the roads surrounding it, but rather the vast expanses of surrounding land create the image of this area being an undeveloped land preserve.

Never knew this was here. Is it a mine or just a hole in the wall. Either way it will be a good walk. Like Thanks for posting. Greetings from El Dorado Hills, Michael
