we use this particular thing! to moor our small boat. first you find a bucket and put cement, grit or broken stone and water in it and shake until they mix, then before it becomes concrete, u should place the iron U-BOLT in it. finally your bitt is ready to safely moor yr boat!

i took the photo by the way in front of our summer house... October 2008 :)
