J. Stephen Conn
on Google Maps
I am a semi-retired clergyman with a passion for travel, history, and the great outdoors. You will see these interests reflected in my images, which are taken primarily to document my travels. My goal on Panoramio is to post one photo from each of the 3,142 counties or county equivilents in the the United States. I completed my goal of visiting each of them in Carson City, Nevada on September 1, 2012. In many of the places I have visited I did not take any pictures so that gives me reason to go back again. As time pemits I also hope to post a few images from the 57 countries of the world that I have been privileged to visit so far. May God grant me a long life so I can finish more of my "To Do Before I Die" list.

This photo is showing in Google Maps as being taken in New Castle IN, which is incorrect. The Pearce Cabin is in New Castle KY.

Beautiful Courthouse Picture!!!!

Favorite and Like!!!!

Great pic of the monument and courthouse. Would love to have this in the group as we don't have Izard County yet.

How interesting! Can you tell us what all the sign says? And what season was it when you took this photo? I'm assuming Summer, as I see no snow, but is that true? Its so cool you got this great pic!

Almost hard to believe that there is still anything confederate related in kinston now a days...

Awesome. Its almost unbelieveable that there can be a bar named confederate or a a depiction of this size of the stars and bars. I never been to this bar. But it is now on my bucket list. Party on rebels!!!!

This photo is definitely of Curry, AK at Mile 248.5 Alaska Railroad. However, the location of the picture on Google Earth is definitely wrong! Google Earth position is the power line crossing the Susitina River. The railroad is several miles to the west of where Google notes the picture location!

Excellent Court House Picture!!!!

Great Picture!!!!]
