Your multiple mis-spellings of the Hawaiian name of this area are borderline disrespectful as it seems you have several different ways that you are butchering the word. Are you aware of what happened here in our past? Please do not make "fun" of the Hawaiian language or this special place. Many people died here including small children and there are people alive that remember it and lived through it. Thank you for your consideration.
Nice photo of LAUPAHOEHOE park. The Hawaiian word Laupahoehoe means "leaf of lava" as the little penninsula of lava that sticks out down there that the park sits on is like a "leaf". If you wanted the correct spelling I have left it here for you in my compliment of your photo. Aloha from the Big Island.
