Julian O’Neal’s Grandfather built this mule barn around 1900. The bars where not to keep the mule from eating the peaches, but to keep the mule protected, as they were as valuable then as having a big farm tractor. Close to the crossroads was a doctor’s office on the corner, where the two old cedar trees are now was the entrance to his office.
