Johnnie Welborn Jr.
Updated April 10, 2012:
(Note concerning the locations of aerial images: Please do not correct any of the locations of my aerial images. These locations reflect the location from which any particular aerial image was shot. This means that an image's location may be reflected quite far away from the subject of the image, miles in some cases. It would be misleading to post the location of the image immediately upon the image's subject. Thank you.)
My apologies to those who have attempted to contact me via my Panoramio account. Apparently the email notifications are not going through. For those interested in obtaining license to use my work commercially, please do not contact me here but, instead, via my Flickr acount, where additional and more recent images may be found: http://www.flickr.com/people/vfr_photography/ . There is an email link at my Flickr account that will put you in touch with me. Thanks for visiting!
Please note: ALL of the images within this account are copyrighted and should be considered intellectual property. If you wish to use my images for any purpose, you must have my permission for it to be legal, otherwise you are stealing. If you are an educational outlet, I generally have no issues with your use of my images if you email me for permission. If you wish to use my images for a commercial purpose, please email me so that appropriate arrangements may be made. If I DO discover stolen images (be it on the web or in print), I will not hesitate to take legal action to recover any losses to which I may be entitled. Thank you all for understanding. I had hoped such a disclaimer might never be necessary!
A Texas-native, I've resided in Clarksville, Tennessee for many years (since 1977). My father's professional photography skills and techniques have influenced my own pursuit of photography greatly and I hope you find my images enjoyable. I presently shoot landscapes and scenic images, as well as a number of railroad and aviation related images. I also fly with pilot friend Aaron Boyd as frequently as possible in pursuit of aerial images, an activity which has led me to begin flight training for my private pilot license.
