No there not, only an old DC3 WHICH you can view down on to on Google earth on far side of Jacksons Airport, and now most of the Revetments behind the DC3 are gone for Development, many have been bulldozed since taking these Photos, this one is still there at present, Eugene Beangke

I saw plenty of these when I was with Youth with a mission in 1973/74. Many moons ago. Brings back lots of memories. To this day I have never met a south African that has been to Bouganville island. Copper mine was still working then.

This one I believe, has ended up in a wrong place on the map. Abau is on the coast (as yuo will know, of course) while this is the place called Amau, where the Kwato Mission has the church - and a most interesting story of 'converting' an entire language group.
Very beautiful,stands out really well against the backdrop of lush green vegetation.Enjoying all yr photos,makes me homesick
