In the middle to late nineteen seventies I travelled a lotin Europe. Back then I never even dreamed that the snow cover and glaciers would melt and it would be in my lifetime. I treasure your photograph as it reminds people what Climate Change is.

It is up to photographers like us to keep on posting alpine and arctic pictures as we might be the last generation to see them.

Nice photo, but you may want to rotate it through 90 degrees.

The Ecole Française d'Extrême-Orient or French School of Asian Studies, at the angle of the Rue Dumas and Rue du Bazar St Laurent. Like most buildings maintained and run with French funding, they are painted yellow and white.

The EFEO is an abode of Asian scholarship, especially Indian: temple architecture, inscriptions, grammar, the whole field of indology is explored here.

Its really exciting to view my home town and work pace through google earh.My Salute to the Google earth creators and to the contributers.
