I am writing a book entitled
The Swabian Alb in the Later Stone Age: Illustrating the Changes in Subsistence Strategies and Land-Use Practices.
It will be 283 pages in length, including 95 Tables, 121 Figures, nine Colour Plates, and eight Appendices. It will be published as Band 5 in the Tübinger Arbeiten zur Urgeschichte by the Institut für Ur- und Frühgeschichte, Schloss, Burgsteig 11, D-72070 Tübingen, B.R.D. The series editors are N.J. Conard, H.-P. Uerpmann, H. Floss, M. Bolus, and M. Haidle. The publisher is VML Verlag Marie Leidorf GmbH., Stellerloh 65, D-32369 Rahden/Westf., B.R.D.
The first printing will be ca. 100-120 copies. I would stress that publication of the T.A.U. monographs is not a commercial venture. Its main function is the participation in the system of reciprocal inter-university/inter-library exchanges. Significant sales of the monograph to third parties are not anticipated.
I should like your permission to reprint that part of your photo1265183, which illustrates the Neckar Valley around the Mesolithic site Rottenberg-Siebenlinden. Credit acknowledgement will conform to the customary practice of author, title, copyright, place of publication and publisher. Your permission to reprint the forementioned figures would be greatly appreciated.
schöne Anlage, kann leider nicht besichtigt werden, da Schulegebäude drin; im Sommer an 2 wochenenden: Ritterspiele!

Leckeres vom Fisch-warme Speisen bis 15.00 Uhr, frisch zubereitet! stärken für den Ortsrundgang, bei dem es einiges zu entdecken gibt: Kirche mit schiefem Turm, Allround-Warenhaus, Woll- +Bastelstube, schöne Häuschen mit Vorgärten. Enden wir der Gang bei der Teestube/Kaffeehaus mit Bäckerei beim Schloß!
beide Gebäude sind einen Besuch wert: Das Warenhaus JECKEL bietet auf engsten Raum Dinge, für die sie sonst weit laufen müßten. Im und vor dem Dom (Kathedrale) findet an einem Samstag im April/Mai jeden Jahres der Motorradfahrer-Gottesdienst der Motorradfreunde Rottenburg statt mit Live-Band, Segnung, Corso und Festle....

Dieses Tor nennt sich Obere Tor und wurde 1496 fertiggestellt und ist einer der Überbleibsel von der Altstadt von Lauda.
