The 6mR World Cup was held in Helsinki, Finland in 2011. It was a nostalgic return to the location that saw the last appearance of the 6mR yachts in the Olympics in 1952. Actually all three medalist boats from the 1952 Olympics came to Helsinki also in 2011! And the 1952 winning boat places 3rd in the Classic series.
