Una puñalada en el paisaje.

The green hills of Asturias, Spain, soaked by the same rainy Atlantic Marine climate as Ireland, Great Britain, and France. The rain here looks just as if it was a thin white flour being sifted from the clouds. It keeps the land green and always moist. Behold the greenery ! I loved living there back in the 1960's ! The green hills of Asturias in Northern Spain can be atributed to the extremely rainy Atlantic Marine climate which also soaks Ireland, Great Britain, and France. Only a thin strip of extreme Northern Spain and Portugal has this cold, wet climate. The rest of the peninsula is not quite as rainy, but has more pronounced temperature extremes. The temperatures in the above climate range typically from the 40's F. to the 60's F. Highs in the 80's F. here are not too frequent. That would be averages in the range of 5 to 20 Celsius. A very narrow span of cool temperatures indeed.
