Ciao tom

Well, it's beautiful! L Greetings, NFerenc

Lake Öskjuvatn was created by an enormous eruption in 1875.

"The largest Jökulhlaups (glacial floods) in Iceland are known to have occurred along Jökulsá á Fjöllum between 7100 and 2000 yr BP. The source of these floods were likely an eruption of Bárðarbunga, the central volcano under the Vatnajökull glacier, in the late Holocene. The peak volume of this flood is estimated to have been 900,000m3/s of water discharge. This compares to the Amazon river, which has an average discharge of 209,000m3/s of water." (

I read this was a unfeature desert... Personnally, I think this was kinda cool specially with the low sun effect on the background mountains which is enhancing the lunar landscape perception to the entire area.

180 L/sec emerging at 97 °C.

Pi Grenon le stuff est tu arrivé ?

This was a sunrise. It snowed badly that day. So close to the Rockies. Anything can be surprising as this sunrise.

In good weather, from up there, you can see Cradle Mountain. And, I did!
