I think you're very lucky to live and work near this park so wonderful, perhaps now more beautiful than in the Soviet era, I think a place like this is naturally more attractive than attractions. Nice site friend Rudolph, congratulations, I wish I could live in a place like, would be nice to enjoy nature, unfortunately live surrounded by streets and buildings. Greetings from Madrid.

Hi Rudolph, thank you very much, in Spain circulate some steam locomotives were saved from the torch, are restored and are used in special trains like the photo. The last steam locomotive in regular service departed in 1975, since then there is only electric and diesel traction. The "Mikado" photo is one of the 18 survivors of the 242 that made the series, built between 1953 and 1960. Of the 18 only two are operational and a third that is under repair, the other 15 are in museums or on pedestals in parks or other locations.

Pleased you like it Andre. Many thanks. Best wishes, Andy

Thank you Gena, there is a special place where you can take these photos, the site is fantastic and the views are wonderful. I'm so glad you like it, receives greetings from Spain.

Thanks Gena, is the first photo I uploaded to Panoramio, I remember perfectly that afternoon. Greetings from Madrid.
