Retired. Evolutionary biologist by training (PhD Harvard, 1973). Did extensive field work in southwest USA and all of Mexico north of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, and will be posting some pictures from those days. Worked in industry as technical writer, documentation manager, documentation and knowledge mangement systems analyst and designer from 1982 through mid 2007 - from January 1990 for Tenix Defence. For part of this time Tenix was the largest defence engineering project manager in Australia.
Moved to Australia in 1977 for a University of Melbourne Fellowship and married Ros, an Australian from Queensland, then went back to to University of Maryland for a year in 1989. Returned to Melbourne in 1980 and have been there since.
Except for the old Mexican and California pictures from my early years, other pictures that will be uploaded as I scan them are Bill and Ros shots from the Washington DC area, Australia and our respective travels - including many from Ros's travels before I met her. Insofar as possible, we will try to work out dates.
