Hi there - I'm a postgraduate student at Monash University researching into postfire erosion on the hillslopes around Licola. I came across your great photo and would like to use it as part of my conference presentation in NZ in Feb 2011. Could I please have your permission to use it? Thanks for your response! Regards, Alexis
This is near the proposed site for a desalinisation plant. The Victorian and Australian govenments have in their limited (read autocratic, expansionist, un-environmental, multi-national) wisdom, chosen this site to build a complex that pollutes the river, sea, beaches and in particular destroys an remnant of original coastline with its diverse flora and fauna.
