This was a deadly day in the GSMNP. A man died up on the AT due to bad planning and improper equipment.

Amazing Day Part 2. About 500 feet higher than where I took this shot a girl had to get rescued for hypothermia and 1,000 feet higher, Up top on the Appalachian Trail a guy died from exposure. Wrong equipment for the meteorological conditions.
