Beautiful picture!

It's obvious that the other commentors don't understand the history (and humor) behind this photo - or really anything having to do with the Corps. Semper Fi!

Beautiful macro! L Greetings! zyko

Thank you, Ari. The water felt especially nice on this extremely hot day!

Thanks for visiting,

Dave, I was searching for photos of Parkersburg and stumbled upon this photo. Very nice. I searched to find the Bible verse and found Ecc 5:1-7. Great reminder with a great pic. Thanks!

That is a beautiful bridge. It's so light......almost no structure at all.

Gorgeous sunset scenery, LIKE!

Thank you, Serega! I'm so happy that you enjoyed this! Thank you also for the translation. I have a super hard time with those on-line translators. Very best wishes to you from the USA, Mary Alice

Great shot & she seems to love it too!

Bridge was built by prisoners in 1874. Rail road was abandoned prior to WWII. Rails were pulled up during WWII for the steel. This section went from Staunton to Lexington VA. Interstates 81 and 64 run parallel to the old RR, sometimes atop the RR.
