This is actually not part of the Smith & Bybee Wetlands Natural Area. There are a couple private lots there at that end of the lake, and that's one of them. Assuming that your placement of that photo on Google Earth is correct, you were most certainly on private property when you snapped that.

I first saw this building, a little over two years ago for the first time. I was just in awe, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I had guessed it was an old train station because of the clock, but I now know what it was. I'm still telling you that building has a life of it's own.

This is not misplaced....if you look at the map, you can see the bike path going under this bridge. This is not the railroad bridge that is under construction.

I have a house a few miles away...it's not an expensive place to live, but it is remote.
