Collection(s) in Panoramio since 2008, reactivated 2015. To me a real photography site is a place where photographers are discussing the photos, changing real thoughts and writing comments with contents. NOTE 1: The comments I write may contain some nonsense, both accidentally and/or on purpose. I hope it is possible to see that this is not these photos' fault, just mine... ;) . In any case all my comments can be read also as "Good photo! I like!" or "Nice! Interesting! Friendly Greetings!". I just have not seen any kind of sense writing years and years those same few words and to same people... "Sorry"... NOTE 2: My titles with (i) show there is some additional info about the photo or the place. This info is always meant to be real, serious and accurate. Thanks for viewing & reading.

Thank you so much for adding this one to your favourites, dear Joli. Living on a relatively small island, there are miles of coastline to walk, and this one is very exciting.

Hugs, Amelia

I didn't check out the wine cellar, Keith, but apparently there were vineyards here at some point. No-one offered us a glass on arrival though. ;-)

Cheers, Amelia

Ja, Tanja und Nick, ausgezeichnet auch. I had to do exactly the same. So let's add there some DD, degree of difficulty: the word is koukero around here :)

I recently read this tight diamond formation is the team's trademark.

Thanks for all your comments, Nick. The fourth shot is my own favourite of these all but this is the angle I might recognize the Hawk easiest. Strange enough but I have always seen this plane very much like a flying Goldeneye.

I guess the bird hide is a bit like The TARDIS, Sixten. One never knows what lies beyond the door. And yes - I had the key all the time. ;-)

;-) hab Dich auch so verstanden..kanner ;-))))

Danke, aNNa*! Ein wenig anspruchsvolles Foto. Ich denke, dass es effektiver mit der dunklen Hintergrundfarbe aussieht.

Best possible season to photograph this. The tree silhouettes make a good extra element. If you'll ever get tired of just rushing down the wild stream I believe it's always easy ( for you :) to take a break with some water slalom.
