bradtwr's conversations

Hi Erik, The pilot I flew with no longer lives here on Bonaire. He was using the Bonaire Flying Club plane. If i find an address for the club or any current members, I'll let you know. Brad

Nice picture! Yellow star

I was actually participating in a low key race hosted by Andre Nahr of "Cycle Bonaire/Discover Bonaire". They rent Trek bikes from their shop by the traffic circle. "De Freewieler" also rents bikes(Giant.) "Bonaire Wellness" hosts the races these days, rents bikes (Fuji and Cannondale) and organizes a bunch of free group rides every week. These shops all have web sites and can set you up with a guided tour. Those free group rides might serve just as well. You can also rent a bike at the entrance of Washington Park. There is a cycling map on the InfoBonaire WEB site.

Beautiful picture!Cheers from Russia, Sergey:)))

Yes, for about 32 years here on Bonaire.

This is looking east from the scorers tower used for the freestyle events.

Hi, Thanks for your comments. I've taken pictures of Brandaris hill from all sorts of different angles and vantage points, but I think this is my favorite picture so far. I shot it from the top of a nearby hill. The Park is a no fly zone, so any aerial photos I have of the park are from just off shore.

I shot this from ridge East of BOPEC, right by where the new radar tower stands now.

Ellen's guided tours of her family's historic plantation are quite interesting.

Washikimba inlet, just south of Lagoon. The coastline between Washikimba and Lagoon is our favorite place to watch waves crash on the shore during windy weather.
