After 2081 miles of walking with a late friend, Panoramio seems a great way to share photos that would otherwise stay locked away. I hope some will find enjoyment from them! I have started a Group called British Walks http://www.panoramio.com/group/18301 and slowly uploading so the pictures can be seen in sequence. If anyone has a sequence of photos from their walks in the British Countryside, and would like to share, please visit the Group

Thank you very much Patty I am glad to be able to tickle your nostalgia (if you know what I mean) :-)

Thank you Lizab

Unda I have been time traveling - this place bewildered me for quite some time when we found it as I didn't know what it did. The B-Diner sign seemed lost in amongst the car bits and bobs. I think it looks like its out the movie Cars

I do laugh when I see that picture Peter although I must confess it was almost exactly 4 years since I last clicked on it! 1981!!! I think you are due a trip over.

Best wishes and many thanks - David

Hahahaha......... you made my day Peter

It is indeed full of old folks at certain times of the year but in the summer there are many young northerners there.

It is a very affordable place to live / vacation / eat etc.

Best wishes - David

Thank you Peter - I'll take that as a compliment as well as a popular beer from my once local brewery.

Likewise Liam - I assume wicked awesome is a good thing :-)

Thank you my friends........

Oh... Tom Cooper ...... thanks to you, we went out last night exactly on cue and saw an -8.1 flash at 22:13 from an Iridium we learned about through Heavens-Above!!! We even worked out the azimuth/attitude stuff out!!

David

Nice "old" shot Peter!

Hi David

You are right about the Wood Pigeons. But it is strange, I see regularly a Goldcrest and a Bullfinch!

All the best Peter
