After 2081 miles of walking with a late friend, Panoramio seems a great way to share photos that would otherwise stay locked away. I hope some will find enjoyment from them! I have started a Group called British Walks and slowly uploading so the pictures can be seen in sequence. If anyone has a sequence of photos from their walks in the British Countryside, and would like to share, please visit the Group

I agree this is Shavers End and Woodbury Hill near Great Witley. The Malvern Hills are much further to the left. Not visible from anywhere on Deansford Lane.

Feika~~~Your Holland is indeed rich in beautiful pastoral landscapes, the patch-work quilt of rich earth fields in those flat lands, stretching for many kilometres, the result from a thousand years in tending the soil and reclaiming huge tracts from the sea.. Dear Feika, you portray your beloved Holland with a profound understanding of its peoples and culture! Beauty is every where my friend!

dip-photos~~~I'm grateful for your kind review! Such scenery is commonplace in my region and for that, I am most thankful!

Kind regards to you both!

Many thanks Radek

The site of the former Akaroa Head lighthouse and its infrastructure is indicated by the concrete slabs (right). The lighthouse has been removed to Akaroa township and now sits looking over its quiet harbour.

AJ30 it is in the coastal region where I live - perhaps 3 hours drive east.

Thank you for your comment - Jethro

What an ingenious mind you have Sixten - it seems familiar to me.

Very clever - I like your style.

Peter just got "Home" and was able to watch the link you sent.

Many thanks for posting!

And thank you David for your comments.
