After 2081 miles of walking with a late friend, Panoramio seems a great way to share photos that would otherwise stay locked away. I hope some will find enjoyment from them! I have started a Group called British Walks and slowly uploading so the pictures can be seen in sequence. If anyone has a sequence of photos from their walks in the British Countryside, and would like to share, please visit the Group

Hi Rosa and Jethro

This wood is at the bottom of the garden, and for the last four years I have been lucky enough to see quite a few youngsters. i don't think the actually nest in the wood, but the young congregate there after being able to fly.

Three years ago was quite amazing as on four occasions I heard their shrieking and this gave sign that the mother was approaching. If she approached over the houses she would drop the food at a height of say 30 feet and one of the two or three youngsters would be out to catch it within 20 feet from the ground!

All the best Peter

Hi Jethro

A mimic, if had known what it was I would have got closer!

All the best Peter

A super avenue! I like the different colour greens of the trees.

Best regards, Rosa.
