After 2081 miles of walking with a late friend, Panoramio seems a great way to share photos that would otherwise stay locked away. I hope some will find enjoyment from them! I have started a Group called British Walks http://www.panoramio.com/group/18301 and slowly uploading so the pictures can be seen in sequence. If anyone has a sequence of photos from their walks in the British Countryside, and would like to share, please visit the Group

Splendid shot! Regards palaemon

Can I remember when you could get a pint for six pence? Was it old or new pence?

Any road up David, Marstons now own Jennings, and Sneck Lifter, and I could drink it in Wolverhampton if I could afford it. I think like Guinness it does not travel well!

All the best Peter

Very beautiful and colorful street scene! LIKE Greetings from Silesia, Krystyna.

The whole area is a sad sight. Urban decay is almost inevitable but this area (St. Hilda's) was once the centre of Middlesbrough but is now a barren landscape with just a couple of buildings left standing. At the moment it's one of those places there is no reason to visit although it's on the way to the beautiful Transporter bridge.
It's not the best of photos but it's an area not heavily displayed on Google Earth so I uploaded it.

Hi Peter, what a lovely and relaxing scene and nice little beach. Like.

Nice views of the Malverns. Had a good day there about 20 years ago

All the best Peter
