It had been raining for two days. On the third day (26.Sept.) the rain became stronger. The river rose by 6m and the water flooded many streets in San Teodoro and other places. The foto shows Via Nuova. The water in the street was about 1/2 Meter. The current was very strong. The water caused great damage to houses and streets. The sand on the beach was washed into the sea. The fire brigade hat a lot to do !
