The Stewart grain elevator, according to the source, was the first concrete grain elevator in Pittsburgh, built in 1913. It is one of the last survivors of Pittsburgh's once thriving grain industry.
That looks like the JS ST John. It was operating out of Erie for Erie Sand and Gravel back when I was stationed there in the Coast Guard back in '72-'76.
