I'm pretty sure this was our barracks 1963 basic training, Charlie Co. 1st Bn 1st Bg a.k.a. "C run run!" Our platoon Sgt., Sgt. Peitroski(sp., sorry Sarg). Sgt. P was also bartender at local VFW. Used to like to "pay us a visit" after work! In our mess hall, on the wall, was painted a roadrunner, artist was my good friend's brother. Hmm, wonder if the bldg. and pic are still there?!
I spent several summers in Arco as a child. I remember Manfred and a few others. My grandparents owned/operated the Sens Cafe next to the hardware store. When I was last there the cafe building had been torn down. I have more photos of Arco that I haven't posted.
Regarding the Nubble lighthouse, we're currently living in New Hampshire and we visited there last fall.
