Hello - I'm just a chap aged over 65 but still working ~ who happens to like taking photographs and sharing the results with others. I have a Nikon D700 and associated lenses. Sometimes I use a Panasonic DMC TZ5 compact camera which is much lighter of course and much better to take when I'm walking any distance. On occasions the results can be very pleasing too. Originally I tried to restrict myself to Google Earth acceptable shots and I have uploaded a few thousand of those. Now with Google street cars etc, that sort of work is no longer essential. So landscapes become more relevant perhaps. I think that Panoramio is a great site and a wonderful way to see other people's work. I hope that it remains in some form or other. All the very best to you all. Last edited April 2015

The list would be endless as much philosophy is from the philosophers point of view with many points of view.

Belíssima foto! Parabéns!

I've just seen this in May's TTT, Peter. What a beauty! Well worth the view count. Please accept my congratulations on your determination in getting photos like these.

Cheers, Amelia

Hello my dear Sarah as you may have seen from the comments above i was sitting with Peter in his car here at a location beside the track along the railway waiting for a train that was to pass

i passed my time watching the birds close by going about their business and like this one collecting feathers ect to line its nest :))

Your YS-L is much appreciated as always :))

Peter, come on! take this thing off my hands, and all his friends and family! :) they are such a pest! BUT, he does look cute sitting here on the porch, however, he won't be there long if my husband sees this thing. The squirrels here, Peter, dig down into the roots of our flowers, bother the birds, and yes, bring in diseases I would think. we really do try to get rid of as many as we can. BUT here comes more! kinda like "rabbits", tho rabbits don't bother us much in our garden. Isn't the Grand Canyon GRAND?? a miracle of nature for certain! thanks for the visit here.

best wishes, Sarah

Hello Steve, its great to see you return to check out this colorful 18th B/Day cake for a special friend. This one was a lot of fun. I appreciate the YSL again:)

kind wishes, Sarah
