Hello - I'm just a chap aged over 65 but still working ~ who happens to like taking photographs and sharing the results with others. I have a Nikon D700 and associated lenses. Sometimes I use a Panasonic DMC TZ5 compact camera which is much lighter of course and much better to take when I'm walking any distance. On occasions the results can be very pleasing too. Originally I tried to restrict myself to Google Earth acceptable shots and I have uploaded a few thousand of those. Now with Google street cars etc, that sort of work is no longer essential. So landscapes become more relevant perhaps. I think that Panoramio is a great site and a wonderful way to see other people's work. I hope that it remains in some form or other. All the very best to you all. Last edited April 2015

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your second visit here, and for linking the picture to yours. It gives a nice perspective on the day when we can share pictures like that. Different views, different approaches, it all adds to the fun and friendship of the day. Strangely, I seem to remember a guy in an orange jacket standing by the telegraph pole too.... But that wasn't me! (this time).

Best Wishes Peter

Out of the time where cars had facees. Gret shot. Best regards, Helge

Thank you, Hubs. The walk round this lake was indeed lovely, and the weather was warm. We are back to colder temperatures now, and tonight we already have a frost.

Greetings to Bavaria, Amelia

Churches are built to last, Hubs, and this is no exception, although the use of softy Shropshire sandstone means that fairly regular maintenance is necessary.

Greetings to Bavaria, Amelia

Yes absolutely Louisa! Many thanks.

Best wishes, Andy

Thank you, Klaus. I'm delighted that you liked it. :)

Friendly greeting to Berlin, Amelia
