Hello - I'm just a chap aged over 65 but still working ~ who happens to like taking photographs and sharing the results with others. I have a Nikon D700 and associated lenses. Sometimes I use a Panasonic DMC TZ5 compact camera which is much lighter of course and much better to take when I'm walking any distance. On occasions the results can be very pleasing too. Originally I tried to restrict myself to Google Earth acceptable shots and I have uploaded a few thousand of those. Now with Google street cars etc, that sort of work is no longer essential. So landscapes become more relevant perhaps. I think that Panoramio is a great site and a wonderful way to see other people's work. I hope that it remains in some form or other. All the very best to you all. Last edited April 2015

Pleased you like it Finn. It was great fun.

Kind regards, Rosa.

Sixten Imgs ~ LOL, but I think you are missing the point ~~~

Derek Geer Well it has a habit of appearing in numerous Londonscape shots that is for sure :~)

Sixten Imgs how much is that in Euros?

Sixten Imgs You are the first one to spot that the girl on the right is indeed sliding down the handrail, her sense of balance was amazing ~~~~

Excellent photo

Son vientos muy fuertes de tierra hacía mar... La ola va contra el viento dominante. Creo que sera peligroso a nadar alejandose demasiado de la playa, porque el viento te va a sacar. Muy buena foto.

It's a true copy of an original statue by the Italian master Benvenuto Cellini, cast in Florence between 1548 and 1550, The Trentham Estate’s statue of “Perseus with the head of Medusa” was made on the order of the 2nd Duke of Sutherland around 1840. I think it was reconditioned about 3 years ago. :)

Cheers, Amelia
