Hello, this is Russ Rowlett, webmaster of the Lighthouse Directory, hosted at the University of North Carolina, USA. This is an excellent photo of the Wakayama North Breakwater lighthouse, and I am hoping you will allow me to use it on the Directory's page for lighthouses of Northern Wakayama. The Directory is an educational project, completely non-commercial. Please take a look (next to last photo on the page); I hope you will think this is a fair use.
was a member here in the eighties
This is a photo looking over Lake Burley Griffin to the National Carillon (not 'Clarion') on Aspen Island with Mount Ainslie in the background.
For 6 months every year the beautiful blue waters of Taiji runs red with the blood of thousand of magnificent whales and dolphins. These wonderful creatures of the ocean are inhumanely slaughtered for their flesh, flesh that contains toxic levels of mercury. The Japanese Government turns a blind eye to the fact that their people and the people who visit this country are consuming contaminated food.
Nice landscape! Looks very interesting.
