EVERY country in the world has slums. Even in wealthy countries, the wealth is not distributed equally and many are poor. There are many slums in the US. Too often, a human being is greedy and will not share. That is true on the entire planet.

This is why, when I see the photo, I do not judge Philippines. Instead, I have feelings in my heart for the people in the picture. Do you not have those same feelings? Or is your foolish pride more important to you than the people in the picture?

You must be a very insecure person, one who feels shame too easily, if you are angry about a simple photograph.

It is no secret what happens in this world. For example: many nations in Africa have civil war and mass starvation. The African dictators try to hide it, but in reality, it is no secret.

Phil. is a beautiful country with beautiful people. That is why tourists vist.

This is the Nation's Premier International Airport....The Nation's identity...Our top management of Operations for the terminal should also regulate and encourage TOP QUALITY concessionaires to operate at the terminal for better service because it is an image of the COUNTRY that was projected thru the service we get from these concessionaires.And avoid chipping food stalls like sidewalk vendor type. QUALITY MAKES US NO.1....YES THE FILIPINO CAN!

thank you for your reply. The photo was taken in 2005. I know that it looks a little bit different now, but the huts are still there. Thank you also for your invitation to your country. I'm visiting Philippines twice a year and I like it very much.
