Thanks for the Picture. I was the Club Manager from Jun 67 to Feb 68. I visited the Beach Club daily in a little white Datsun Truck to check on the supplies. I ran the "Airmans/E-4 Club on the Base. Great times.
I was here in 1965 when Robert Mitchum, Sam Huff and the other members of the Fearsome Foursome visited the Base. We got drunk and fell into a Honey Bucket just off the PSP Pad. "What a nite"!!!
I helped Muffet, Strickland build this club. I was the Ncoic of the Club and the Open Mess Supply Sgt. from Feb 1967 to Feb 1968. I was the one that hired the Waitress. Best job I ever had!!!
