We travelled across 2 August 2008 Great shot ! from Popeye, Sydney Australia

Hi popeye-oz, this picture was taken in August 2008. I climbed the de-salination tower and took some nice panorama pictures. Although I only visited in 2008, I went back to see Lake Eyre in 2009 when it was full of water and actually camped for two nights about 100meters up the track from the ruins.

A very nice picture ! but the spelling should be corrected to Fitzroy Crossing

For most people,this would be a very normal Photo.But it is very special to me! As a child,I used to bike ride there or just wandering along.Now I am living around 20 thousand kilometers away from there, in Australia.No matter what season,it is always great to be there! I miss this special place,"Heimat" Thank you for sharing this Photo! Fuer alle Leute wohl ein ganz normales Foto,aber es ist herrlich fuer mich.Als Kind war ich da entlang gewandert oder mit dem Fahrrad gefahren.Jetzt lebe ich rund 20 Tausend Kilometer entfernt in Australien.Egal welche Jahreszeit herrscht,es ist immer schoen dort zu sein.Ich vermisse meine Heimat!
