This pic is completely inaccurate re its location on the map. Anyone hoping to see the Library of Parliament, at the back of the Centre Block of the Parliament Buildings and using this map as his guide would find himself in the centre of residential area, about a 1.75km walk from the correct location.
I believe this is correctly marked & taken from the west side of the Rideau River, in Cathcart Park, looking east to New Edinburgh, on the east side of King Edward. It's a couple of blocks from Cumberland.
Michel Lalonde is technically correct but since the Museum is on Federal land, and Gatineau has at its request has been included in 'Greater Ottawa', one can forgive the identification of the Museum's location.
