Along the trail down to Shoshone Lake, I noticed these nice flowers along a stream in the woods. The mosquitoes donot appear on the picture, in spite of their number and combative spirit.
One evening, driving down from the Old Faithful geyser, we stopped there and enjoyed the sunset light on this mysterious place where hot springs form a pond and then flow into the river.
The picture is representative of the place, except for the sulfur smell and the steam behind me.
