Does anyone know if the camp on the left of the picture used to be rented out? If so my family used to rent it from Ross, and we spent alot of time there. Last time I was there was about 15 years ago, next week I have a weekend trip planned to go back and see it again. If anyone has any info for me on this location I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks so much. Brings back great memories. The last time I was in there, was two years ago after an absence of 30 years! Mrs Pagett was the landlady in those days. Great Times.
Cheers
Stuart
I moored a boat on the other side of the locks, for a number of years in the late 60s and early 70s. Spent some great summers there and seeing the photograph brought them all back, great photograph thanks for the memories Stuart.

The photograph was taken from a canoe, but even so probably more than 50% of the turtles were gone before I was able to get a shot.

Afraid not, this is cradle lake. Cache Lake is approximately 7 km north of this spot.
