The locator on the map is correct. I suppose the title of the picture should say 'View from Top of Smaller Peak on Sumas Mt'. This is part Sumas Mt, the peak is further northeast, just above where Hwy#1 goes over the Vedder River.

Thanks for the greetings. When we were in S.Africa this past summer we went on a culture tour of a Zulu village. We were told that we would see the way the Zulu people lived today and not the way they used to live for generations. We should NOT expect anything we might see in National Geographic. While we were on our tour, we got a very rare invitation to attend a Zulu Wedding the way they used to do it. The next week the couple had a regular wedding as well. Very few outside people ever get invited to witness anything like this and it was a privilege for us to attend. It WAS something one might see in the National Geographic magazine!
