I grew up in Simi in the 60's. It was a right of passage of sorts to climb White face. We would enter at the end of sycamore drive, and walk north through the "empty fields" all the way to the base. I moved from the area 20 years ago. WOW what a change. Nice photo. =JIM=

This photo really struck a chord. This was taken on Baker Street in front of the home where my grandfather lived after he retired. I remember many hours sitting near this spot under the water tower visiting with grandpa. Grandpa was from Culver originally and he told me that in the 1920's he lived in the same house as a child... but it was one lot over to the right. Apparently someone moved the home at some point. Thanks for sharing the picture!
