This photo appears to be Snodgrass Lake SW of the Denali Hwy bridge over the Susitina River. However, one must realize that, "Itsnot, Snotgrass Lake, it is Snodgrass Lake!" Small float planes on occasion taking off from the lake have clipped the tops of the pine trees seen in the photo!

This is an amazing photo, well done! It is a pleasure visiting your gallery with full of superb images, I can see you like traveling a lot and have been to many fantastic places! :) LIKEd this one also put it on my FAVOURITE list :) Friendly greetings from Hungary - B a k o s A R T -。◕‿◕。 -T o m i

yes this is seven mile lake with summit lake in the back ground. Photo was taken from Denali Hwy headed east about eieght miles from Paxson lodge.

Hey I used to play in Flat during my time off with Tad, and his uncle and father. Right around 1980. I had met some twin boys that lived out of town a few miles and we had 4th of July together and they danced in the ol Moose Lodge with my wife Eve. I remember fixing the new Catapillar front end loader for them to get the batteries to charge. I remember the cookhouse with the mastadon tooth on it and burning Bucach powder for the mosquitoes.I held the camp record for sweat house to creek dips seven times in one session. I remember the dredge and the old Fairbanks Morse 16 cylinder and the Life magazine on the old plow type seat next to the levers. Let me know if you know how to find Tad I would love to talk to him again. We went to aircraft (A&P) school together in Los Angeles. Thanks.

this was my playground as a kid. Better than any jungle gym!

HEY! That's my cabin! The big building is the old Miscovich Bath & Laundry. I was one of the last people to grow up in Flat. I lived there from 1987 to 2000 & was the last full time resident.
