Interesting shot. I and 6 other students shared the rent on this fully furnished townhouse back in 1959, during my last year at Imperial College. We had some great parties there!
The lower former kitchen area had been converted to a separate flat, and was occupied by the Haitian Ambassador, who travelled off to the embassy in a black Cadillac every morning!
Our local pub was the Anglesea Arms in Selwood Terrace. Wonderful memories of those student days!
Dear old Huns'ton,
Spent many days and nights here as a youth in the 40s and 50s ... the Kit Kat club, the Golden Lion hotel, the old salt water swimming pool (now long gone) and the Pilot cinema overlooking the Green. Fond memories, but it's warmer here in Southern California!
