For a small town, Bethpage has had a big impact on the world because of the Grumman Lunar Lander which was designed and built in Bethpage. So I've started a project to "get Bethpage on the map", the Panoramio and Google maps.
My hobbies include sailing, photography, music and spending time with friends and family.

The current Google Map, satellite view, shows an older view with the ground cleared away. In this view the parking lot and most of the construction are completed.
Bethpage, NY- Winner of multiple "best tasting water of New York State" contests.
This retired Grumman F14 jet fighter can be seen in Bethpage outside the current Northrup Grumman building. There are open compartments in which you can see signatures and expressions of thanks from former pilots and others.
Interestingly enough the current Google Maps, satellite view, was taken before this jet was placed here.
Inside this Bethpage Public Library there is a model of the Grumman Lunar Module used on the Apollo moon exploration.

Bethpage was home to Grumman Aerospace Corp when they designed and built the Apollo Lunar Excursion Modules.
With Hemlock Cove in the distance, this GPS location shows the walkway to get from a car to a dinghy to join a boater who is anchored in the Cove.
