World travelled, I have had an interest in photography since I was young. My hobbies are reading, writing, music (listening, not playing!), and art. I am a qualified diver and I used to surf in my younger days 1966-1976 before injury and illness ended that sport for me. I have an interest in astronomy, nature and some sports.

Chorugh wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts als russische Garnisonsstadt im Great Game gegen die Expansion der Briten von Afghanistan her gegründet.
1996 war Chorugh Stützpunkt einer Friedenstruppe mit Soldaten aus Russland und Kasachstan. Ziel war die Sicherung der Grenze zu Afghanistan. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chorugh
