Looking at Google Street View, this store might be back in use again. I hope so, I love stopping in these stores when I'm out in the country (on bike or in car).

I love this shot... this is my friend Caroline dwarfed by a huge basalt column formation.

The old highway between Arisaig and Mallaig (B8008). This road was bypassed by the reworked A830, making it a perfect road for cycling.

My father ran a butcher's shop in the building on the right side of the picture, now it's been 46 years ago. Glad to see it's still standing!

An alert viewer has informed me that this is actually the Sound of Arisaig, and they are absolutely correct.

Coming out of the valley at Kinloch Hourne, this is probably the best pure touristy bicycling picture I have ever taken.
