Hey, everyone's got an opinion (then and now) so I would never attack someone personally for that. But, I do hope you see that with a little vision, these things are actually important. Also, this was the ideal starting line for many reasons. And you have to start somewhere after all.

Appears to be looking east at the intersection of 18th Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue. The large light colored stone building on the left is the old Police and Fire Academy that has been in operation since the early 1900's if not before.
